Past Fundraisers

We will be raising money for music, field trips and all of the costs associated with running a thriving music program. We really appreciate the support that you all give us and your music program! We also know that these fundraising items really save our families lots of money in discounts. A win, win for everyone.

 

This is not a required sale and if a student/family chooses not to participate, that is OK. We are hoping that a volunteer donation will be made instead. A lack of fundraiser participation will not affect the grade OR participation in the music program. Please just simply return the unsold book & card at the end of the sale (Cougar Gold Card and/or Ent. Books on 10/3).

 

General Fundraiser Reminders:

We started our fundraiser in late September & we hope you can help support your music program!  This is a great opportunity to save lots of money as a family while helping your music class. This is extra important this year as our voluntary donations have been lower as compared to past years. If you would like to donate, we are still accepting donations of any amount. This combined fundraiser will be our only fundraiser of the year.

 

Please make checks payable to “Newhart M.S. ASB.” We must keep the accounting for Cougar Cards, Entertainment Books AND Donations separate so please do not combine checks for different items. You can combine cards with cards, books with books and donations with donations.

 

ENTERTAINMENT BOOK INFORMATION – 2 Turn-in Days - 9/26 &10/3

BONUS TURN-IN DAYS

Sept. 26 are the early bonus turn-in days for the Entertainment Book Fundraiser. Prizes will be passed out during the morning turn-in starting at 8:10 AM, we will begin the turn-in process right outside the Band/Orch. Room (19). Orders may ONLY be turned in before school! Please turn in all orders at this time, as we will give you as many books as you turn in orders for.

 

FINAL TURN IN DAY for the Entertainment Books will be on Oct. 3 before school at 8:10-8:40 AM right outside the band/orchestra room. All online orders for out of area books, orders for OC books and emails must be finished and/or turned in this day. Starting at 8:10 AM, we will begin the turn-in process right outside 19. Orders may ONLY be turned in before school! Please turn in all orders at this time, as we will give you as many books as you may need. If you have not sold your book, this would be the return day. Make sure it's in perfect sellable condition.

 

  • OC Ent. Books – Take orders and fill them with your 1 book. The cost is $35 and checks should be made out to "Newhart MS ASB." If you have more than 1 order, bring your money for all orders with you to the turn-in day and we will fill your other OC books then. 

 

  • Emails & Online Orders - Go to fundraising.entertainment.com Click on "Seller>Join a Fundraiser" Enter 880197 to find Newhart Instrumental. Follow the quick and easy instructions to set up your own personal fundraising page. Share! Send emails and post your link on social media. Supporters simply click to order and pay for their Entertainment Memberships directly on your site. You and your group will get credit if ordered by 10/3.

 

  • The shipping is included in the price of those books. Byselling 5 orders online, you will earn the flying crystal ball.

 

  • Out of Town Orders – You can go ONLY order them online through our fundraiser link above.  Shipping is included with the price indicated. Please do not forget to put the student’s name along with the band & orchestra code of 880197 in the ordering process so the students get credit for prizes.

 

  • Unsold Books – Keep them safe. Any unsold books will need to be returned in re-sell-able condition on Oct. 3rd.  If the book(s) are lost, damaged, or used, the students will be billed for the items. This is not a required sale and if a student/family chooses not to participate, that is up to you.  A lack of fundraiser participation will not affect the grade OR participation in the program. Please just simply return the unsold book on the return date listed above.

 

  • COUGAR GOLD CARD & DONATION INFO – Turn in orders any or every day from 9/22 until 10/3

    • All orders for Cougar Gold Cards and donations are accepted ANY DAY from 9/22-10/3. To reach our goal, we are hoping that every member of the music program is able to sell at least 5 cards.

     

    • Please turn in all monies for the sold items or donations no later than 10/3.
      •  

        All Cougar Gold Cards and donations must be paid for separately. For example, if you want to purchase 2 cards and donate $40, then we would need 1-2 checks totalling $20 for the 2 cards and checks totalling $40 for the donation. You are welcome to combine orders for the same items but not for different items. You may also choose not to combine checks and that is OK too. And cash is always OK however we do not have the capabilities to make change. We hope this makes sense. We have explained it to the students too, so they should understand and be able to explain it to parents.

      • Bottom line is that we must keep the accounting for Cougar Cards, Entertainment Books AND Donations separately.

       

      • Prizes are calculated on sales of cards, donations, or the combination of both as long as they are turned between the dates of 9/22-10/3.

       

      • Please make checks payable to "Newhart M.S. ASB" or cash is OK. Please send exact cash amounts as it is really difficult for us to make change.
      • COUGAR GOLD CARD OR DONATION PRIZES (Every card sells for $10, but it's worth $7 profit for us. Therefore donation prizes can be calculated using $7 towards each card.)
      • Every 2 Orders ($14 donation) = Golden Spoon Buy 1, Get 1 Free Certificate
      • 7+ Orders or $50 donation= Your Own Medium Pizza for Lunch!
      • Every 25 Orders or $175 donation = One ticket to Knott's Berry Farm or Magic Mountain
